Jeremy Winter is Corporate Vice President and Chief Product Office (CPO) of Azure Core Platform, the organization delivering infrastructure offerings that power the world’s workloads. Spanning from general-purpose, to workload-optimized (e.g., AI/HPC, mission-critical, cloud-native, etc.), to SaaS applications, the platform’s combination of compute, storage, networking, and management services delivers customer choice and flexibility in current and future application hosting needs. As CPO, Jeremy is responsible for the end-to-end product vision and strategy and is the engineering spokesperson for the Azure platform. Leveraging his broad experience across Azure and keen ability to drive collaboration across organizations, he oversees product planning and roadmap efforts across the organizations that make up Azure infrastructure. In addition to his CPO responsibilities, Jeremy also leads the product team focused on Azure cloud-native and management solutions and is responsible for a broad portfolio delivering the common control plane (ARM), hybrid (Azure Arc), and cloud-native (Kubernetes and Upstream) application platform. Jeremy brings more than 25 years of experience as a developer, operations, and product leadership to his work. An entrepreneur at heart, Jeremy has an innate talent for identifying market gaps and is passionate about innovating new solutions to enable and empower customers, whether that’s incubating a new solution, building a business or through acquisition. At the core, his leadership approach is centered on people, trust, and humility. The depth of his hands-on experience juggling the multitude of complexities of Hotmail Operations and managing the Systems Center portfolio is foundational to his holistic approach to business. Jeremy is a champion for people and culture, leading the Azure Core approach to a distributed work culture, piloting new approaches, such as no-meeting weeks, and learning and scaling insights to the organization. He is a sought-after mentor, known for growing leaders from early in career through to senior leadership roles. In his spare time, Jeremy enjoys the great outdoors with his family.
