Karri Alexion-Tiernan is the director of Product Management for Desktop Virtualization at Microsoft Corp. Alexion-Tiernan has been working in the enterprise and management space for many years. She has spent time architecting, deploying and managing servers and desktops, including managing software distribution for a large distributed enterprise of 60,000 seats using System Center Configuration Manager. She has been at Microsoft for 10 years and thrives on learning all aspects of the company, including field-facing roles as a technical account manager and operations consultant; engineering roles, such as partner ecosystem program manager and principle program manager for System Center Configuration Manager; and for the past three years as director of Product Management, initially for Microsoft Application Virtualization and now responsible for Microsoft's Desktop Virtualization offerings. Alexion-Tiernan has a bachelor of science in computer science from Wentworth Institute of Technology, Boston, Mass. When she's not thinking about virtualization and enterprise management, she is snowboarding, biking, hiking, or hanging out with her family at soccer and flag football games.
